Steamed Chicken Rolls

Ingredients
  

For the roll cover:

  • 1 1/2 cup Plain flour maida
  • Salt to taste
  • 3/4 tsp Yeast
  • 1 1/2 tsp Sugar

Filling:

  • 1 cup Chicken cooked and shredded into small pieces
  • 2 nos Onion big size
  • 1 clove Garlic cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 tsp Soya sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • Salt as reqd
  • 3 tbsp Capsicum finely chopped

Instructions
 

  • Roll cover: 1)Mix sugar and yeast in a cup of water and leave for 10 minutes.
  • Knead flour with salt in the above and keep aside for 2-3 hours.
  • Filling: 1)Heat oil and saute chopped onion.
  • Add garlic,capsicum and saute well.
  • Add soya sauce, sugar and saute well.
  • Add the shredded chicken and mix well.
  • Preparation: 1)Divide the dough into four portions roll the dough with a chappathi roller.
  • Keep the filling inside and roll it. 3)Put light cuts on top of the roll keep the rolls in the steamer for for 15-20 minutes and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a fry pan, put the chicken rolls on the pan and fry them till get the brown colour on both the sides.

    I tried yesterday. This recipe is very good and easy also. I used tomato sauce instead of soya sauce. Ok, thank u once again for the easy recipe.
