  • Corn flour(mixed with 2 tbsp milk) - 1 tbsp
  • Eggs(separated and beaten) - 2 nos
  • Jam - 3 tbsp
  • Vanilla Essence - 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar(As reqd) -

Instructions
  1. For preparing sun rise pudding, soak the bread pieces in milk for 15-20 minutes and beat well.
  2. Stir in the corn flour, egg yolks, essence, sugar and blend very well.
  3. Heat 1 tsp of sugar in a mould till it caramelizes. Cool and pour the bread mixture into the mould. Bake in a moderately hot oven for about 30 minutes.
  4. Mix together the jam & egg whites and spread this mixture over the top of the pudding.
  5. Bake for another 10-12 minutes.
  6. Sun rise pudding is ready. Serve when it cools and cut into slices.
