Instructions
  1. clean and wash the sundakka for 5 times
  2. in a pan boil the water and bengal gram
  3. once the bengal gram get cooked 3/4th add sundakka, salt, red chili powder and turmeric powder and mix well
  4. chop the onion and garlic
  5. add tamarind water and 2 glass of water and allow to cook until the bengal gram and sundakka get cooked well
  6. now add onion and garlic and mix well and allow to cook for 5 minutes
  7. add sugar and mix well
  8. add grated coconut,mix well and turn off the flame
  9. now sundakka poriyal is ready
