  • Black gram(husk removed) - 500 g
  • Plain rice - 1 cup
  • Clarified butter/ghee - 750 ml
  • Sugar - 750 g

Instructions
  1. Fry the black gram and rice separately until slight brown.
  2. Mix both of them and grind into fine powder.
  3. Grind sugar also into fine powder.
  4. Mix sugar powder to bleck gram-rice powder and mix thoroughly.
  5. To the above, add ghee slowly. Mix constantly while adding ghee. Add ghee until the powder mixture is damp.
  6. Prepare lemon sized balls with the above and store.
  7. Sunni undalu, a favored Andhra special is ready.
