  • Sweet potato - 1 chopped
  • Vatha kuzhambhu podi( i already posted) - 2 tbsp
  • Shallots - 15 chopped
  • Curry leaves - 1 string
  • Tamarind water - 1/4 cup
  • garlic - 5
  • Mustard - 1/2 tsp
  • Urad and channa dal - 1 tsp
  • Asafeotida - 1/4 tsp
  • Jaggerry - 1/2 tsp
  • Gingelly oil - 2 tbsp
  • Salt(as per taste) -

Instructions
  1. Clean and peel and chop sweet potato
  2. Now in pan add oil and temper mustard, urad and channa dal
  3. Now add shallots and garlic
  4. Now add curry leaves and saute well
  5. now add potato and saute well and cook for 5 minutes
  6. Now add vatha kuzhambhu powder and mix well and salt
  7. Now add tamarind water and boil for 2 mins and add water and bring to boil 10minutes
  8. Now add jaggerry boil for 5 mins and turn off
  9. Now its ready to serve
