1/2 cup Semolina (Rava)1/2 cup All purpose flour (Maida)1 1/2 cup Coconut (grated)1/2 cup Condensed milk3 cups Sugar1 cup Water1/2 tsp Cardamom powder (Elakka)1/2 tsp Nutmeg powder (Jathika)1/4 tsp Baking sodaGhee (As reqd) For preparing sweet semolina fried balls in sugar syrup, first roast the grated coconut till the aroma starts coming.Slowly add condensed milk and stir till it reaches a slightly thick form. Allow it to cool. Add the cardamom and nutmeg powder. Keep this aside.Meanwhile, boil water and add sugar to make a syrup. Make it a thread like consistency.Make a batter of rava, maida, a pinch of salt and baking soda. The batter should be thick.Make balls out of the coconut mixture and dip the coconut balls in the batter and deep fry it in ghee.When the balls become golden brown in color, dip it in sugar syrup.
