Swiss Roll Bread roll with jam 100 gm Self raising flour or Maida100 gm Sugar2 nos EggsVanilla essence (A few drops)1/2 tsp Baking powder (optional)Sugar for spreadingStrawberry or raspberry jam to spread Preheat the oven to 180 degree C.Beat the eggs, sugar and essence, until fluffy.Slowly fold the flour into the mixture and mix it thoroughly without any lumps.Take a swiss roll tray or any flat tray and cover the tray with aluminium foil.Pour the mixture over the tray and spread it evenly.Bake it in the oven for 10 - 15 mins or until knife comes out clear.Take a butter paper and apply powdered sugar and spread it evenly.Invert the cake over the butter paper.Allow the cake to cool.Spread the jam over the cake and roll it gently.Cut it into pieces.
