Tamil Nadu Peanut Chutney
Simple chutney of peanuts - Chennai style

Roasted peanuts

Green chillies
Salt
As reqd
For seasoning:-
1
tbsp
Oil
1/2
tsp
Mustard seeds
Curry leaves
A few
Instructions
Grind together peanuts,
green chillies
and
salt
adding enough
water
.
Heat
oil
in a pan.
Splutter
mustard seeds
.
Pour the ground chutney and reduce the flame to sim.
:- The chutney must be somewhat watery but not that much watery.
Bring the chutney to a boil.
Add the
curry leaves
and remove from fire.
Thats it. Peanut chutney is ready.
:- Serve with dosas and idlis.
:- Please check the consistency yourself.
