Ingredients
  

  • 100 gm Prawns peeled & de-veined
  • 1 cup Rice
  • 2 cups Water no need for extra
  • 1 ½ Salt
  • 1 no Onion
  • 2 nos Cloves Grambu
  • 1" piece Cinnamon Karugapatta
  • 1 no Bay Leaf optional, Karuga ela
  • 1 no Small red chilly
  • or
  • 1 no Green chilly
  • 1 tsp Garlic paste
  • 4 nos Mint leaves Pudhina
  • Saffron A pinch
  • 1 tbsp Oil

Instructions
 

  • Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a rice cooker.
  • Fry onion, cloves, cinnamon, bay leaf, chillies, mint and garlic until aromatic for about 2 mins.
  • Add the rice, water, prawns, saffron and salt.
  • Close the cooker and let it cook until it turns off to (Keep Warm÷.
