Mushroom

Frozen peas

Freshly grated
coconut

tsp
Oil

tsp
Mustard seeds
1/4
tsp
Black gram
Uzhunnuparippu
Salt
As reqd

Curry leaves

tbsp
Coriander leaves
chopped
For masala:-
1
tbsp
Coriander seeds
1
tbsp
Cumin seeds
Jeerakam

Dry
red chillies
Kollamulaku
Instructions
Roast all masala ingredients one by one till nice aroma comes from it(for about 1/2 a min).
Allow it to cool and then, grind it without adding
water
.
Cut
onion
and
mushroom
lengthwise.
Heat
oil
in the pan or a kadai.
Splutter
mustard seeds
,
black gram
and saute
curry leaves
.
Add
onion
and fry till it turns light brown.
Add the
mushroom
and frozen peas.
Add the masala powder and
salt
.
Lower the flame, cover and cook for about 10 mins.
Meanwhile, grind the
coconut
to a smooth paste with little
water
.
Add the
coconut
paste into the pan and cook it for 15 mins.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
