Soda powder
A pinch

Curry leaves
finely chopped

Hot
oil
Oil
As reqd
Water
As reqd
Salt
As reqd
Instructions
For preparing
tapioca
mukki varuthathu, cook
tapioca
in hot
water
and drain it.
Slice the
tapioca
in 2 inch pieces. Keep it aside.
In a bowl, mix in rice flour, basen flour, asafoetida, hot
oil
,
salt
, soda powder,
curry leaves
, chilly powder with a little
water
to make a batter.
Heat
oil
in a deep frying pan. Dip the
tapioca
pieces in the batter and fry it.
Tapioca
mukki varuthath is ready. Serve with
tomato
sauce or chutney.
