cheppankizhangu 65 is tasty and all time favourite veggie for many people. Seppankizhangu 65 is a deep roasted starter. Indian side dish for rice .

Ingredients
  

  • Taro root ( cheppa kizhangu ) 250 g
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • red chili powder 1/2 tsp
  • pepper 1/4 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • maida 1 tsp
  • corn flour 3 tsp
  • rice flour 3 tsp
  • oil to fry

Instructions
 

  • purchase the old taro root ( cheppa kizhangu ). and boil in the pressure cooker by adding salt and water and allow for 2 whistles and peel the skin
  • cut into round shape
  • in a bowl add taro root, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, pepper, ginger garlic paste, maida, rice flour, corn flour and mix well by adding little water
  • add taro root ( cheppa kizhangu ) and mix well and marinate for 10 minutes
  • in a pan heat the oil and fry the taro root ( cheppa kizhangu ) until it becomes crispy
  • taro root ( cheppa kizhangu ) 65 is ready
