Green gram
(Cheruparippu/Moong dal)

Cheruparippu

Onion

Tomato
cut into small pieces

Green chillies

Fenugreek leaves
optional, Uluva ela

Chilly powder
1/2
tsp
Turmeric powder
Salt
As reqd

Oil

tsp
Mustard seeds
Curry leaves
A few
Instructions
In a presuure cooker, boil moong dal,
tomato
,
onion
, methi leaves and
green chillies
along with chilly powder,
turmeric powder
and
salt
.
After boiling, smash the curry well.
Heat
oil
in a pan or a kadai.
Splutter
mustard seeds
and
curry leaves
.
Add the above curry into the seasoning.
Allow it to boil.
When it starts to boil, remove from flame.
:- Serve with chappathis.
