Tasty Tomato-onion-coriander Chutney Chutney made with Tomato, Onion and Coriander leaves Coriander leaves (cleanly washed and roughly chopped)2 nos Tomato (cut into cubes, medium)1 no Onion (cut into cubes, medium)4 tbsp Grated coconut3/4 tbsp Red chilly powder3 tbsp OilSalt (As reqd) Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.Add onions and saute for 2 mins.Add tomato and saute, till they get cooked.Add the coriander leaves and fry.Add grated coconut and mix well.Allow it to cool a bit.Blend it along with red chilly powder and salt till it gets a consistency of chutney.:- Serve with idli, dosa or chappathi. just gave it a try. was worth it. works for those who want a simple side dish for dosas. it turned out to be a good variation from the usual coconut chutney. thx a lot for the recipe.
