Thayir Sadham Curd rice - Thayir Sadham 1 Cup Cooked White Rice(Fresh)2 Cups CurdSalt (As reqd)2 tbsp Oil1/2 tsp Mustard seeds3/4 tsp Black gram (Uzhunnu parippu)Curry leaves (Few)1 tsp Ginger (Chopped)1 tsp Green chillies (Chopped)1 no Red chilly (Kollamulaku) Mash the rice nicely.Add salt to curd and beat it well.Pour the curd to the mashed rice and mix well.Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.Splutter mustard seeds followed by black gram, curry leaves and red chilly.Add ginger and green chillies and stir for a few secs.Pour the above into the rice and mix well.:- The seasoning should not be very hot since there are chances to curdle.
