Thenga Varutharacha Konju Curry Shrimp curry with nice roasted coconut masala. 250 g Prawns2 nos Onion (chopped)1 no Tomato (chopped)2 nos Green chillies (chopped)1 tbsp Chilly powder1 tbsp Coriander powder1 tsp Turmeric powder5 cloves Garlic (chopped)1 piece Ginger (chopped)1/2 cup Coconut (grated)1 tbsp Lime juice1/4 cup Coconut (slices)Curry leaves (Few)4 nos Shallots (chopped)Salt (As reqd) For preparing thenga varutharacha konju curry, mix turmeric, salt, lime juice and prawns.Fry it in oil till half cooked.In a pan, add coconut, chilly powder and coriander powder.Roast them well and grind it.In a pan, heat oi. Add onion, ginger, garlic and fry well.Add the tomatoes and green chillies.Add ground paste and cook masala well.Add prawns and cook prawns well.Lastly, heat oil in a kadai, fry sliced coconut pieces, curry leaves and shallots.When it turns dark brown, pour over gravy and serve.Thenga varutharacha konju curry is ready.
