Tinned Tuna Fry

  • Crush roughly the tinned fish with hand.
  • Heat half of the oil in a kadai or a pan.
  • Fry the fish, until brown and keep it aside.
  • Heat the remaining oil.
  • Add ginger, green chillies, chopped onions and garlic and saute them one by one.
  • Fry them till they become golden brown.
  • Add curry leaves and carrots and fry it, until soft.
  • Add red chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, pepper powder and fenugreek powder.
  • Fry, until the raw smell disappears.
  • Add tomato puree & salt. Mix well.
  • Add fried tin fish & 1/2 cup of hot water.
  • Cook for 5 minutes on medium heat. Turn off flame when dry.
  • :- Serve with roti.

    I hav added coconut milk in the end and made it semi gravy, try that, very tasty.

    Fantastic is the only word..!!! Though i love tuna, this is the first time am preparing a tuna dish at home and it turned out perfectly fine thanks to this wonderful recipe. Thanks a lot…!!!
