Pressure cook dal+chopped carrot together with 1.25 cups of water for 3 whistles .Switch off the stove ,Don`t open the cooker until pressure is gone and set it aside until cool.
Finally add the cooked and mashed dal to the above seasoning.Mix salt and garnish with cilantro and switch off the stove and leave the dal aside covered for 10 more minutes.
Very simple to prepare and very tasty to eat.My husband was licking his plate!
