Instructions
  1. For preparing Tomato Chicken, first chop chicken into small bite sized pieces. Wash well and drain.
  2. Heat oil in a kadai or a pan. Stir in thinly sliced onion and saute well.
  3. When onions are slightly browned, add chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and garam masala powder. Lower flame and add garlic paste. Saute for a minute.
  4. Add tomato paste and the chicken pieces.
  5. Close the kadai with a lid and allow the chicken pieces to get cooked in very low flame. Do not add water. Allow chicken to get cooked in its own juice.
  6. When it is almost cooked, add soya sauce. Check for salt. Remember that soya sauce contains salt. Tangy, tasty Tomato Chicken is ready.
  7. Garnish Tomato Chicken with coriander leaves.
  8. Serve Tomato Chicken with chappathis or rice.
