Ingredients

  • Cut all the veggies and keep it ready.
  • Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds and Fenugreek seeds.
  • Add curry leaves, crushed garlic and saute for few seconds.
  • Then add chopped tomato, green chilly and fry in medium flame. Keep stirring until tomatoes break down, get cooked and become pulpy. This should take roughly 5-7 minutes for this quantity. 
  • Now add chopped raw mango. Mix well. Then cover and cook for 5 more minutes on low flame.
  • Finally add all masala powders: Kashmiri Chilly Powder, Red Chilly Powder and Turmeric Powder. Add sugar and salt as required. Saute for one minute to let off the raw smell of masala powders.
  • Add 1/2 cup water and cook till it becomes a thick consistency.
  • Serve along with steamed rice, chappathi etc.
