  • Rice - 200 gm
  • Black gram(Uzhunnuparippu) - 50 gm
  • Tomato - 250 gm
  • Onion - 100 gm
  • Oil(As reqd) -
  • Pepper or Chilly Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt(As reqd) -
  • Asafoetida(A pinch, Kayam) -
  • Curry leaves(A few) -
  • Coriander leaves(A few) -

Instructions
  1. Grind together the rice and the black gram into a fine paste and keep it aside.
  2. Heat a pan and add a tbsp of oil into it.
  3. Fry onions and tomatoes in this.
  4. Add pepper powder or chilly powder, salt, asafoetida, curry leaves and coriander leaves.
  5. Add this mixture to the above paste and mix well.
  6. Using the dosa tava, make delicious dosas.
  7. :- Serve hot with Sambar or Chutney. :- Makes 10-12 Dosas.

Its a nice recipe.But i want to point out a mistake in print …black gram is not kadalaparippu, right? Its uzhunnuparippu.

hi anjali.how r u.ur recipe was superb.a very good brekfast for kids .it goes very well with coconut chutney.do send some more variety simple breakfast recipes (especially for kids)
