Instructions
  1. Add water, chopped tomatoes and chopped green chillies in a vessel and boil the contents.
  2. After boiling for 4 minutes, take away from heat and using a ladle, try mashing the softened tomatoes.
  3. Get the vessel back on flame and add salt, turmeric powder, chilly powder, coriander powder and the crushed peppercorns. Allow to boil for the next 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the pepper powder, curry leaves and lemon juice, and continue boiling for another 2 minutes.
  5. Take off from flame and add coriander leaves and close lid tight.
  6. Serve with steaming rice or can be taken plainly, as a digestive.
