  • Tomato(cut into pieces, medium) - 1 no
  • Capsicum(cut into pieces) - 1 no
  • Green chillies - 4 nos
  • Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1 tsp
  • Garlic pods(optional) - 3 nos
  • Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Black gram(Uzhunnuparippu) - 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves(A few) -
  • Tamarind(A gooseberry size quantity, Puli) -
  • Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
  1. Heat oil in the pan.
  2. Add the tomatoes & fry for 4 mins.
  3. Add capsicum, green chillies, tamarind and garlic and fry for another 5 mins until everything is cooked.
  4. Add salt to taste.
  5. Cool down completely.
  6. Grind in the mixie to a coarse consistency.
  7. Tranfer to a vessel.
  8. Prepare a seasoning with oil, mustard seeds, black gram, cumin seeds and curry Leaves.
  9. Pour this seasoning on the top of the ground mixture in the vessel.
  10. :- Serve with idlis & dosas.
