Tuna-Choora Fish Thoran In 5 Mins
Easy but delicious tuna fish thoran in just 5 mins using canned tuna available in EUROPE/USA/UK

Canned tuna fish in
oil
around 185 - 200 gm
1

Onion
medium
1/2
tsp
Turmeric powder
1/2
tsp
Black pepper
Mustard seeds
A pinch
2
nos
Green chillies
split
1/4
tsp
Chilli powder
optional

Desiccated
coconut
grated fresh
coconut
if available
Oil
As reqd
Salt
As reqd
Instructions
Splutter
mustard seeds
in the
oil
from the canned tuna.
:- Optionally use any
oil
, if tuna is canned in
water
.
Saute onions until translucent
Add the tuna and cook for 1 min.
Add
salt
as necessary.
Add the desiccated/fresh shredded
coconut
.
Add
turmeric
and black pepper.
:- Add chilly powder also if you want it to be spicy.
Add the
green chillies
, sprinkle some
water
and cook for another 2 mins.
:- Dont let the dish become too dry.
:- Serve hot with rice.
:- You can also add
ginger
-
garlic
paste if available after step 2 to enhance the taste.
