  • Tuna(drained and flaked) - 1 cup
  • Cheese(Cheddar cheese preferred, grated) - 1 cup
  • Milk - 1/4 cup
  • Egg - 1 no
  • All purpose flour(Maida) - 1 cup
  • Tomato(finely chopped) - 1/2 of
  • Red chilly powder(optional) - 1/4 tsp
  • Cumin powder(Jeerakam) - 1/2 tsp
  • Pepper - 1 tsp
  • Salt(As reqd) -
  • Coriander leaves(chopped) -
  • Tomato paste - 1 tsp
  • Olive oil/vegetable oil - 1/2 cup
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp
  • Cheese(For garnishing, grated) -

Instructions
  1. In a bowl mix flour, milk, eggs, pepper, chilly powder, baking powder, salt, olive oil and tomato.
  2. Stir well to combine.
  3. Mix tuna, chopped coriander and grated cheese.
  4. Preheat oven to 180c. Grease a medium wide loaf pan. Pour tuna mix into the pan. Level the top and bake for 40 minutes.
  5. Keep watch at intervals. If the top browns quickly, cover with aluminium foil.
  6. When baked, remove from oven. Grate cheese over the bread. Slice and serve with tomato sauce.
