Instructions
  1. For preparing turmeric rice, cook the rice in boiling salted water with the spices and bay leaf, until it becomes tender, for about 15 minutes.
  2. Dry the rice, uncovered in a moderate oven, gas mark 3 until the grains are separate and fluffy.
  3. Turmeric rice is ready. Serve hot.
