Take 250g of rice flour in a thick bottomed vessel. Add water and boil until a thick dough is formed. Remove the vessel from the stove.
Prepare about one inch round balls and keep them aside.
Put another thick bottomed vessel on stove and add two glasses of water. Mix the remaining 250 grams of rice flour carefully so that no clumps are formed. While heating, add powdered jaggery, cardamom powder and the round rice balls.
When the preparation becomes slightly thick, add milk and keep mixing gently. When the preparation becomes some what thick, put off the flame. Add the cashew nuts and coconut pieces and mix well.
