Ingredients

Banana
Raisins
as required
1,
grated
Coconut
2-4
tbsp
Sugar
2-3
Cardamom
Ghee
as required
Oil
to fry
Instructions
Steam cook the bananas.
Peel and grind it finely. Keep it aside.
Heat
ghee
in a pan and sauté
raisins
,
coconut
and
sugar
in it till the
coconut
turns light brown in colour.
Add
cardamom
and take it from flame.
Now take a lemon sized ball from the grinded bananas.
Press it finely on your hand, or a flat, clean and greased surface.
Take a spoon full of the
coconut
mixture and place it on the pressed
banana
.
Fold it slowly in your hands and shape it well.
Repeat the same for the remaining
banana
and
coconut
.
Heat
oil
in a kadai and fry the unnakayas in it till brown in colour.
Serve it as an evening snack or during breaking fast.
