Urundai Mor Kuzhambu

This is a traditional recipe and it is good taste and healthy too. This is not a common mor kuzhambu. We add paruppu urundai to combo for this with rice.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Toordal
  • 1 cup Butter milk
  • 1/4 cup Coconut
  • 1 tsp Raw rice
  • 5 & Dry & Green chilly
  • 1/2 tsp Jeera
  • 1 tbsp Coriander seed
  • 1 string Curry Leaves
  • 2 Onion chopped
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • 1/4 tsp Fenugreek
  • Asafeot

Instructions
 

  • Soak toor dal for 2 hours
  • In a jar, add coconut soaked rice and 1 tsp of toor dal and coriander seeds, dry chilly 1 no and green chilly 2 numbers. then add jeera grind smooth paste.
  • Grind red chilly and toor dal coarsely.
  • Add chopped onions and salt, then mix well.
  • Now make a small balls of the mixture and steam for 10 minutes.
  • Now add that grind mixture with mor or curd mix well add turmeric, salt
  • In a pan add oil temper mustard, fenugreek, 1 dry chilly and curry leaves.
  • Now add the mor mixture.
  • When it boil add balls and cook for 5 minutes
  • When it bubbles turn off the flame. Now it is ready to serve.
