this different with other recipes. aadai is prepared by rice and dal batter in that valaipoo is add and make aadai. this is good for health.

  • Channa dal - 1 tsp

Instructions
  1. For cleaning Valaipoo remove from the leaf
  2. Now remove stem and white layer ( refer pic) clean all and keep aside
  3. Chop valaipoo and soak in buttermilk
  4. In mean time Soak rice and dal for 2 hours
  5. Now add dry chili , ginger and funnel seed grind coarsely
  6. Now add dal and rice and grind with chili mixture and keep aside
  7. In panadd oi and temper mustard, channa dal and chopped valaipoo and salt ( for batter too)
  8. Now transfer the valaipoo roo rice dal batter and mix well
  9. In tawa grease oil and spread batter in tawa and turn both side and cook well
  10. Now its ready to serve Valaipoo Aadai.
