Cauliflower
florets separated, medium

Green peas
You can more vegetables if you like

Onion
chopped, big

Green chillies

Tomato

Masala mix:
Cardamom
, Clove, Cinnamon,
Aniseed
,
Poppy seeds
etc
for grinding - 2 1/2 spoons of the mixture
Ginger
garlic
paste
1/2
cup
Coconut
1/4
cup
Fried Channa
Pottu kadala
2
tbsp
Oil
1/2
tsp
Chilly powder
1/4
tsp
Turmeric powder
Salt
As reqd
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Instructions
Finely grind the
tomato
,
coconut
, masala mix and fried channa (soak the pottu kadala for 10 minues before grinding).
In a thick bottomed pan, fry the onions and
green chillies
.
Add
ginger
-
garlic
paste,
chilli powder
and
turmeric powder
and saute it.
Add the washed vegetables and slightly fry them too.
When they are half done, add the ground paste and 2 1/2 cups of
water
,
salt
to taste and close and cook on low flame.
When everything is cooked well, mash a few of the
potato
pieces into the gravy to thicken it, check
salt
and add more and mix if needed.
Transfer it to a serving bowl and sprinkle coriander leaves on it.
:- Serve hot with chapathi or porotta.
