Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan or kadai.
  2. Splutter mustard seeds and saute red chillies and curry leaves.
  3. Add sliced onions and saute till soft.
  4. Add green peas and carrot and cook by closing with a lid.
  5. When cooked, mash the boiled potatoes and add it to the pan.
  6. Sprinkle turmeric and salt and mix well. Put off fire.
  7. When cool, make into lemon sized balls.
  8. In a vessel, mix besan powder and salt with water to form a thick batter.
  9. Heat oil in a deep pan or kadai.
  10. Dip the balls in the batter and deep fry till brown.
  11. Drain on oil paper.
