Vegetable Makhanwala Vegetables cooked in butter and masalas 1/4 cup Beans (cut)1/2 cup Cabbage (cut)1/4 cup Peas2 nos Carrots1 no Capsicum3 tbsp Butter8 nos Paneer cubesFor grinding: 1 no Onion2 nos TomatoesGinger3 nos Garlic pods2 nos Red chillies (Kollamulaku)3 tbsp Grated coconut2 tsp Poppy seeds (Khashakhasha)1/2" piece Cinnamon (Karugapatta)2 nos Cardamom (Elakka)3 nos Cloves (Grambu)Curry leaves 1 tsp Coriander powder1/2 tsp Chilly powder2 tsp Oil or ghee Cut all the vegetables into small pieces and pressure cook them (except capsicum).Grind all the ingredients by adding very little water. Heat butter in a skillet.Add ground masala and fry well. Keep frying till oil separates from masala. Add all cooked vegetables and little water. Cover the lid and cook for a few minutes. Before removing from fire, add paneer cubes. Garnish with coriander leaves and onions. :- Serve hot. North Indian
