Black gram
Uzhunnu parippu

Cauliflower florets

Carrot

Water
Instructions
Chop
onion
,
garlic
and
ginger
into small pieces.
Chop the remaining vegetables into cube size and boil them.
Heat
oil
on a pan.
Add
mustard seeds
.
When they pop, add
Bengal gram
and
black gram
.
When they turn golden brown, add
onion
,
ginger
and
garlic
.
When the
onion
turns golden brown, add the
semolina
.
Fry until you get the aroma of shredded
wheat
.
Add
salt
, hot
water
and cooked vegetables.
Stir Vegetable Upma continuously for 5 minutes and cover with lid and turn off the stove.
Let Vegetable Upma cool on the remaining heat.
:- Vegetable Upma is ready.
:- Vegetable Upma is Ready to serve with chutney.
