Vellarika Morucurry
An easy morucurry for 4 people

Ingredients

Vellarika

Turmeric powder
Salt
As reqd
Water
to cook

Curd
Curry leaves
4

Dry
red chillies
Kollamulaku
Mustard seeds
For grinding:-
Coconut
half

Green chillies
1/2

Cumin seeds
Jeerakam
1/2
small
Mustard seeds
Instructions
Cook vellarika along with
salt
and
turmeric powder
in a little
water
.
Grind
coconut
with
green chillies
, mustard and cumin.
Once vellarika is cooked, add the ground
coconut
paste and simmer the flame.
Beat curd with a little
water
and mix it with the curry.
Leave for 3 mins and finally garnish it with spluttered
mustard seeds
,
curry leaves
and
red chillies
.
:- Serve hot.
