Vellarika Morucurry
An easy morucurry for 4 people
Ingredients
- 1 no Vellarika 500 gm
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- Salt As reqd
- Water to cook
- 4 large Curd
- Curry leaves
- 4 nos Dry red chillies Kollamulaku
- Mustard seeds
For grinding:-
- Coconut half
- 5 nos Green chillies
- 1/2 small Cumin seeds Jeerakam
- 1/2 small Mustard seeds
Instructions
- Grind coconut with green chillies, mustard and cumin.
- Once vellarika is cooked, add the ground coconut paste and simmer the flame.
- Beat curd with a little water and mix it with the curry.
- Leave for 3 mins and finally garnish it with spluttered mustard seeds, curry leaves and red chillies.
- :- Serve hot.
