Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a pan.
  2. Splutter mustard seeds.
  3. Add curry leaves, green chillies and lady`s finger.
  4. Fry for a few minutes, until lady`s finger turn crispy and light brown.
  5. Add turmeric and salt.
  6. Turn off the heat after 2 minutes.
  7. Add the fried lady`s finger into the yoghurt and mix well.
  8. :- Serve with rice/ rotis.

this is not the way to make pachadi. where is coconut & mustard seeds(pacha kadugu)???

Adding a cup of grinded coconut and 1/4 tsp of mustard seeds(pacha kaduku) would make it taste like a real pachadi.

adding a mixture of coarsely ground coconut and 1 green chilly to this preparation in addition to the curd would make this taste even better. seasoning the whole mixture at the end, is strongly recommended.

Why are Keralites obsessed with Coconut …. The recipe given is as fantabulous as the coconutised version! healthier too!
