Ingredients
  

  • Carrots : 1 lb
  • Milk : 2 1/2 cups
  • Sugar : 1 1/4 cups or as reqd
  • Cardamom powder : 1/2 tsp
  • Ghee : 1 tsp
  • Chopped cashew nuts & almonds : 2 tsp each

Instructions
 

  • Grate the carrots.

  • In a sauce pan cook the grated carrot with milk and saffron.

  • Add sugar, cardamom and nuts.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Grease a plate with ghee and pour this and cut into burfis.
