Instructions
  1. Take a blender,add eggs,sugar,cardamom powder and blend it for 5 minutes.
  2. Mix the maida, semolina, sugar and a pinch of salt along with the beaten egg.
  3. Add ghee and make it into a tight dough. Keep it aside for 1 - 2 hours.
  4. Divide the dough into equal portions.
  5. Shape the dough roughly like a square or circle and run a sharp knife over the dough and cut ito diamond shapes.
  6. Fry these in the oil till they are golden brown. Drain the excess oil from Vettu Cake with a paper towel.
  7. Serve Vettu Cake with tea as a snack.
