Vietnam Cake

This is a traditional Vietnamese sweet which is made with moong dal and coconut milk. Most of favorite sweet cakes are often served as desserts in the breakfast. To prepare this recipe it takes less time. All purpose flour or maida is dissolved in thick coconut milk and boiled. Cooked moong dal is added to this along with vanilla essence . This is transferred to cool down and served in cubes.

Instructions
  1. cook moong dal and mash it finely
  2. in pan add thick coconut milk
  3. add sugar to this
  4. add maida and stir without lumps
  5. when it starts boiling add mashed moong dal and keep mixing
  6. when the sides come without sticking remove from flame
  7. transfer to tray and cut to shapes when cooled down.
