  • White fish fillet - 250 g
  • Lemon juice - 2 tsp
  • Chilly powder - 1 heaped
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Fenugreek powder(a pinch, Uluva) -
  • Chickpea flour(Kadala mavu) - 1 1/2 tbsp
  • Egg - 1 no

Instructions
  1. Wash and clean the fish. Drain and dry with paper towels.
  2. In a deep bowl, beat egg and add lemon juice, chilly powder, turmeric powder, fenugreek powder and seasoning powder(salt or fish cube).
  3. Add chickpea flour and beat till smooth.
  4. Heat oil in a wok. Dip each fish in batter and deep fry till golden brown.
  5. For mint chutney grind coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chillies, sugar, lemon juice, grated coconut and required salt to a smooth paste.
  6. :- serve with mint chutney and yogurt dressing.
