Instructions
  1. chop the onion and tomato
  2. chop the carrot, beans and potato
  3. take plain juice from water melon with out adding sugar and milk
  4. in a cooker heat oil and ghee and temper the aniseed, bay leaf, cardamom, cinnamon, clove,.
  5. now add onion and green chili and saute it for 5 minutes
  6. add tomato and mix well
  7. add mint leaves, coriander leaves and ginger garlic paste and mix well until the raw smell goes out
  8. add peas, carrot, potato and beans and mix well
  9. add salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder and pepper and mix well
  10. add one glass of water and allow to cook the vegetable
  11. soak the rice in water for 10 mins
  12. once the vegetable get cooked add soaked rice and mix well and allow to cook for 3 mins
  13. now add watermelon juice for 2 cup rice 4 cup and mix well
  14. allow to cook the rice for 5 mins in medium flame and close the lid and keep for pressure for 5 mins but dont allow to come whistle and turn off
  15. once the pressure comes down remove the lid and mix well again. now watermelon pulao is ready to serve, serve with raita
