Instructions
  1. For preparing wheat athirasam, add 3/4 cup of water to the jaggery.
  2. Boil this solution and lowering flame add all the other ingredients except coconut oil and stir well.
  3. After 3-5 minutes, remove from the fire. Close with a lid and keep aside.
  4. On cooling knead the dough well and make balls having the size of a large gooseberry.
  5. Flatten the ball into small circles on a plastic sheet/banana leaf.
  6. Fry these in coconut oil.
  7. Wheat athirasam is ready.
