Wheat Rava Pongal, A one pot meal that is nourishing and comforting using broken wheat, yellow moong dal is this pongal. This is the best breakfast option for everyone of us especially for people with diabetes.

Ingredients
  

  • wheat rava 1 cup
  • moong dal 1/2 cup(soaked 1/2 hr)
  • ginger chopped 1 sp
  • green chilli chopped 1 sp
  • ghee 2 sp
  • pepper corns 1 sp
  • jeera 3/4 sp
  • red chilli 2 no
  • curry leaves few

Instructions
 

  • heat ghee in a pan saute ginger and green chilli
  • fry rava well in ghee
  • in pressure cooker allow water to boil and add salt
  • to it add soaked dal
  • to it add fried rava and allow 2 whistle
  • in a separate pan temper some pepper corns,jeera,curry leaves and red chilli
  • add some cashew and keep aside
  • add this to the cooked pongal and serve
