Splutter the mustard seeds, add chopped onions and turmeric powder, curry leaves and saute well. Add ginger-garlic paste, chopped tomatoes, red chilly powder and sufficient salt. Mix thoroughly and replace lid. Allow to simmer on medium flame till tomatoes are smooth.
Add one cup of water and mix .
well. Cook on low flame till the water is reduced and oil shows up.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or Chapaties. Also serves as Snack item.
